Segments allow creating custom users list that can be utilized in marketing campaigns, databases and more.

ChatBot automatically collects all users that chat with the bot and stores their data in the Users section. You can browse this section to find a particular person or a group that meets specified criteria.

Segments Overview

Additionally, you can organize users into custom groups called segments. Segments can help you to organize user lists and let you export them all collected data .CSV files and manage them with external applications or edit in spreadsheets.

Getting started with segmentsLink icon

Creating and editing segments is very simple and it helps you to keep everything in perfect order. Each list can be easily modified, renamed or deleted. So let’s get started! 🎉

  1. Head over to your settings and select user segments. Go to Segments

  2. To create your first user list click add segment button. Click add new segment

  3. Give your new segment a name, for example “Monthly newsletter”. Click create when you’re ready. Name your new segment

  4. Your first list is ready 👏👏👏. From now on you can add users to this segment the Users section.

Modifying and removing segments is very simple. To do so, hover over the segment that you want to remove. Now you will see two new icons: edit and remove. Click the action you want to perform and confirm.

Be careful when removing. Deleted segments cannot be restored.
